Well after working with Cycle Dialogues on a number of projects, I am now the Artist In Residence at Walsall Gallery and embarking on a new venture. You have probably guessed I am doing 'Cycle Dialogues Walsall'. I am gathering stories from people who live in Walsall and asking them to share their memories and recommendations of where I should cycle to. I am looking for the personnal and eccentric and aim to create an audio/visual new piece of work presenting an alternative look of Walsall.
So share you thoughts and stories with me and send me where you would like me to visit! So far I have been recommeneded to see a ghost, a windmill, canel, oldest pub in Walsall, visit the best school in Walsall and interview the singing lady at the Spar shop!
post your stories now!

Hi Sima,

We met at Walsall Art Gallery - I am Walsall Council's Cycling Officer.
I was wondering if you would like to come to Walsall's Cycling Forum next Thursday evening, 21st May.

These are very informal meetings attended by local cyclists (normally about 12 max) and we sometimes have guest speakers.
As you are currently doing your Walsall Cycle Dialogues, it seemed an ideal time to invite you to the forum.
Meetings start at 6pm at Walsall Town Hall, normally lasting about an hour and a half (guest speakers normally speak first so can leave early if necessary).

If you are intersted please let me know. The best way to contact me is to e-mail crossa@walsall.gov.uk or call 01922 652577 / 07837 467785.
It would be great if you could attend. I can provide a laptop / projector if neccesary but a short chat would be fine just the same.

If it's not convenient, I'd still be happy to join you on your rides around Walsall so please get in touch.

Many thanks,

Adam Cross
