I got tired of Windows and decided i would switch to a free Operating System. Linux is much more secure than windows and a lot more powerful while keeping it's size down so you can run it on your old PCs.

As I am writing this Linux is formatting my C: (or i guess it was my C:) drive and installing the operating system while i am surfing the internet.

I decided to go with Ubuntu in case anyone is wondering.

I'll let you know how it goes!

Hey, are you still using Ubuntu.  I was trying it out on my computer for awhile, but I have so many Windows programs that wouldn't run in Wine that I had to go back.  Now I'm giving the Windows 7 RC a tryout.  So far, it's working much better and more stable than Vista.  I also had problems with blue screen on XP too, but Win7 seems to be so much better.  Looks good too with all the goodies.  I guess I'm going to fork out the bucks in October when it gets released.
