If you like U2, or not, if you are fascinated with Bono, or not...I don't really care.  You should read this article (see below).  Since I was little, my family has instilled in me that it is our responsibilty to give back to our community.  Now, community can mean various things....our city, our neighborhood, our state, our country, even our friends.  Regardless, giving back to this "community" is not only a responsibility, it should be considered a privilege that we are fortunate enough to give back with our time, money, or leadership.  I can think of no better example of this than Bono.  He has used his natural talents to give back to his "community" no just through monetary means, but through his music, leadership and most importantly by example.  This article was published recently in the Washington Post.  It is a bit lengthy, but it does a great job of illustrating Bono's influence in the U.S. Congress.  I mean think about it....he's not even a U.S. citizen and he is working harder than virtually all Americans to influence policy, progression, and change.  I will leave the rest for you to read, but I do hope that those of you who do take the time to read this article will find a new sense empowerment of what you can do in your "community" no matter if it is within a one mile radius or worldwide.  Enjoy...
