"I dream a lot. I do more painting when I'm not painting. It's in the subconscious." -Andrew Wyeth

I am not the only one in this Empty Nest who is keeping busy. The HHR has also been put to work. I didn't get to make out on it over the weekend, but it did star in the short film.

Mike says that in "what your car says about you" realms, the HHR gives me the appearance of being a practical and efficient person- but I think I put that idea to rest shortly after we parked and walked into the Circle K where we were treated like the "it" couple. I don't know what I did besides be happy and walk in and it was Mike who, in a protective measure, put his hand on my back- but still, he claims that he is never going anywhere with me again.

Another man saw the HHR differently, "Cool, girl! That car makes you look less expensive!"

As in what? I'm the kind of girl you can get for one camel instead of two?

At least I know that better than the HHR is sitting on a couch between two extremely fit married men, Jason Scheff(Chicago) and Rick Monroe (Rick Monroe Band). I tried not to stare as much as I tried to listen as they discussed health and fitness. And winning the award for charming-est husband of ever, Rick couldn't stop talking about his wife's fine body- she is also a health and fitness participant. Finally, I blurted out my commitment, "Whatever it is," I declared, "I'm signing up!"

Welcome to P90X. Based on my experience, part of me hopes that it comes with a fit husband- but the rest of me knows better and anyway, I am still just getting warmed up by sitting on my ass alone, watching You Tube videos of Jason's inspiring transformation, while waiting for my P90X program to arrive. "You are a perfect specimen," Jason assured me, without even dough-boy poking my tummy.

I feel doubtful that I will be able to convince Mike to join me on the program as he has already created and maintained his own broccoli driven swimming lifestyle, but I do believe that we have a shot at rivals with Jason Scheff when it comes to making P90X You Tube videos.

-Insert meaningful items about setting intentions and creating reality here.

-At some point, blog-offer examples of the practical applications of abstraction.

-Feel so appreciative of it all.

-Remember that you never know what you will find in an HHR. And that the action painter driving it, may very well be 90 days away from a Fergalicious Christmas dress.

Update on P90X: It practically fell out of the sky and for a significant discount since I blogged this morning and I am in the HHR and on the way to pick it up from some guy at a gas station.
