I had my injured foot x-rayed the other day and when the doctor..eh, well...the podiatrist, rather, held the image up to the lightbox, he blurted out (and I quote) "Shit, Kid!"

Uh... how about just responding with a simple "Hmmm" or "Here's the problem?" Haven't you undergone training in how to break the news to patients... who are broken?

Also, you're not my buddy, Doctor Alarmist. I didn't stop in to chill and chat about "Lost" with you. How about you not "shit" before my injury?

Thanks a bundle. I got a second opinion.

I can TOTALLY relate! Good to get a 2nd opinion..doctor's suck ASS! I had them go with my recent tidings 'wow, that looks bad!'..'what did you do?'..that's really what you want to hear in an ER-heh. Go you!

Must have been one impressive break for that response! Then again, in my eyes, you're ALWAYS impressive! ;)

I had really terrible poison ivy and the doctor at UT said "Ewww, that's disgusting!"
