WHATEVER I WANT I MUST FIRST GIVE IT AWAY!
Giving is the first part of receiving. I receive what I give away.
When I do not give, my Soul shrivels. When I give,
my Soul expands. Whatever I give, I give to myself.
"Give and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed
down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men
give to your bosom." (Luke 6:38).
"... and he which soweth bountifully
shall reap also bountifully." (II Cor. 9:6)
This is saying that the principle of receiving is to give first.
If I want friends, I must be a friend. If I want love, I must give
love. If I want others to be patient with me, then I must be
patient. If I want money I must give it away. That which
I give away, I am giving to myself. When I give myself
away in some kind of service, Life gives back to me!
YES, all is well with my Soul,
and all is as it should be in my life!
For this and so much more, I give thanks.
And so we let it be.
