We're really psyched to be on the cover of The Deli today! Check it!
http://www.thedelimagazine.com/index.php?itemId=185885"Gotta stay awake to get ahead," chants Teedo Bilecky, lead singer of the New York based glam-punk unit Teedo, in the song "City." These words knowingly speak of those familiar restless New York summer nights. Teedo's sound is fitting as a synth-based jittery soundtrack to sitting strung-out on a rooftop while waiting for dawn. "Another Sound" begins with a minute long spaced-out guitar solo, followed by TV On The Radio-like anthemic vocals, creating a chilled-out stoner vibe that balances well with the amphetamine-fueled "City." Their 2007 full-length "Luvatomic" is aptly named as well. The album's mood embodies the sexy, psychedelic, gender-bending genre of rock music fashioned by David Bowie in the early '70s, but with an undeniably up-to-date twist. Check out Teedo's part-futuristic, part-retro funkiness on April 20th at REHAB. - Shira Knishkowy
