We hope you all have enjoyed your summer and are getting ready for the autumn season.  Fall is normally a period of high activity for URN and this year will be certainly no different.

NEWS ON “SCRIBINGS OF A FORGOTTEN SOUL”

For the most part, as many of you know our new album, “Scribings of a Forgotten Soul” has been out for a little over a month at this point.  Many of you have already procured a copy, but a good number of you have also sent many inquiries as to where you can buy the new title.

The answer to those questions, simply, is just about anywhere. 

That is why we love and are so grateful to the dedicated staff at Rotting Corpse Records.  They once again have been going above and beyond the call of duty to full support their roster acts.

URN once again has full distribution with Synergy distribution and they have made the title available through all major chain stores (both brick ‘n mortar and digital), so you can head to your local Best Buy, FYE to pick up or order your copy.

Or if you’re the stay-at-home type, you can also purchase it in the online retail universe  e.g. Amazon.com, as well as iTunes, eMusic, MySpace.com, Napster, and over 300 other digital services.

As a result of the album being out, this means we will once again commit ourselves to extensive touring in support of this release.

UPCOMING SHOWS/TOURS

You can check all of the band’s various websites include the flagship site:  www.urncentral.com, as all the dates are posted upon confirmation of the event.    A number of fans have also contacted us about certain dates and it is very likely that yes, we are going to play the dates that were inquired, but it is our policy to only post the shows that are fully confirmed.  This alleviates confusion on many fronts and we will be very quick to alert and promote the shows upon the confirmation.

NEW URN VIDEO

Also in later October, URN will be filming the video for the “Reckoning Hour” single with Liquid Productions (who also filmed “Rain” for Novembers Doom).  Pre-production is already underway and the excitement is very high for this project.  More details will be announced in next month’s edition of the newsletter.

NEW SONGS POSTED ONLINE

If you would like and get the chance, the song is posted on several of our websites for your listening pleasure in addition to the “No Man’s Land” single as well.

NEW URN MERCHANDISE

URN has a whole new line of merchandise for the “Scribings of a Forgotten Soul” album.  The line is complete with new ladies-style t-shirts, and spaghetti string tank tops.

All the artwork was done by Corvis Nocturnum (who also did the artwork for the album).  A new online store is being created and should be up in the coming weeks if you can’t make it out to the shows.
