8-29-08--- The Frequency--- w/Underculture (Madison) and The Interiors (Chicago)
Last night was our first show. It was at the Frequency and it fuckin' RULED! It was great to see all our friends out. Everyone seemed to like the new tunes. It's always strange hearing a band for the first time. You gotta let it all soak in before you know how much you love/hate it. We definitely felt the love. And the ladies liked our ties. I was hot as hell on stage, but wearing a suit actually kinda kept me cool, since the sweat stayed on as opposed to spraying out into the crowd if I were just wearing a t-shirt! The sound mix was decent. I gotta make sure to keep my guitar loud. James and Andrew sang like angels. I was worried the back-up vocals wouldn't be loud enough, but some people said they were actually a little too loud at times. That's cool. It was nice to be able to hear ourselves. We gotta get a better monitor system for the basement (my basement in Middleton where we practice). Well, time to try and book a couple more shows if it's possible, before ol' Andrew leaves us! Thanks to all that came out and made Eddie Ate Dynamite's debut a success! -eddie-
