Current mood:  anxious
Well we drove abot 3,000 miles and wrapped up 12 shows in thirteen days through places like St. Louis, Little Rock, Kansas City, Oklahoma City and of course our hometown of Dallas... (the club in Denton shut down, that's why we took a day off) We also played Wicitah, Tulsa, Texarkana, and a few other places I don't recall off the top of my head... Our new van (new to us anyway) served it's purpose well except for one flat tire @ 4:00 AM. We gave it our best shot in letting folks in these cities know we were coming a few weeks ahead of schedule as well. No press coverage that I know of, but some airplay / radio support in several places. People showed up for most of our shows. Not tons of people, but it's not like we expected tons...  We're unknown, unsigned and breaking new ground at nearly every stop. Friends and friends of friends and myspace friends all helped us out alot. If we can get back out there soon and even further next time, we should keep things moving in the right direction.

I believe we made a good impression all around. We were on time, didn't party too much and stayed out of trouble. We met a whole lot of new people who bought our merch and made gas money at every gig we played. Even the times we got pulled over and had to deal w/ Johnny Law, they couldn't or should I say didn't give us any tickets or harrass us too much. This is cool because all we want to do is get out there and do what we do best. Being from Texas seems to be a red flag when it comes to driving out of state. The plates say Texas and cops find this an excuse to pull us over, so we've got to keep our shit togther.

Setting this tour up was a major pain in the ass. Our buds A-Bomb Chop Shop from DeKalb Illinois, set up half of them. Those are some good guys! They are older and already settled down w/ jobs and wives and such so they just tour for fun. They're psychobilly and sound a lot like the Cramps, so it's complimentary to what we do.

What we need NOW is a band or agent to hook us up w/ somebody who is serious about touring at this time. We hated coming home so soon and are trying to line up round two for August - September... I am currently thinking it'd be best to set up cornerstone shows like in NYC or Boston and then fill the gaps in between.... Honestly I don't know, never really done this on this scale before. What I do know a lot more about is, what is where, and that we will definately hit Memphis next time instead of driving by it twice in three days.
