Just released on Primordial Music, the debut AZRAEL TRIGGER album that features a few tracks that I contributed programming & guitar to. Azrael Trigger is the new project from my band-mate from Neuroplague, Gus Yoo, and I have to say, the album kicks ass. Thanks to James and Chris for their contributions to the tracks I worked on, and a big thanks to Gus for letting me be a part of the project. Check it out on primordialmusic.com - where the album is available as a free download. After you listen, stop by the Azrael Trigger MySpace Page: http://www.myspace.com/azraeltrigger

AZRAEL TRIGGER RELEASES DEBUT ALBUM ON PRIMORDIAL MUSIC

"Season To Sever" first new material from Neuroplague frontman in 4 years

AUGUST 16, 2007 - (NEW YORK, NY) - Gus Yoo, the voice behind legendary NYC industrial act Neuroplague will unleash his newest project, Azrael Trigger, on August 4th via internet based music label Primordial Music. The album, titled "Season To Sever" is a massive collaborative effort centered around Yoo's Vocals, Lyrics, and concept, and features contributions from other notable electronic artists such as Matt Collins of Hazmat, James Francis of The Panic Lift, DJ Drub, Renee Ilardi of Despirator and Chris (aka death condition) of Life Cried.

In production for over a year, "Season to Sever' offers listeners 14 original tracks that cover almost every spectrum of electronic music, and will be offered as a free download via the Primordial Music website. In addition to the music, the release is bundled with high quality artwork designed by Yoo himself, which includes full color lyrics sheets, and a complete set of liner notes.

A live band has been formed with hopes to play shows in the fall of 2007. In addition to his work with Azrael Trigger, Yoo has also been working on new Neuroplague material with fellow founding member Matt Collins, and hopes to have a release sometime next year.

Yup, new Neuroplague is somewhere in the distant future... I have no idea what it will sound like at this stage, but Gus and I both want to work on some kind of new material, it will be interesting to see if it sounds anything like old NP, or is totally different...
