I'm so darn lucky.
I got to play at Zanzibar Blue and the Blue Note with some Maynard Alumni, like Dennis DiBlasio, Steve Weist, Chip McNeill, and Mike Dubaniewicz. We also had Chris Botti sit in on a song in NYC. I had no idea he could play the stuff he did!
Then the following week, we recorded at Tony Bennett's son's studio, Bennett Studios, in Englewood, NJ. Christian Jacob and Wayne Bergeron played on it as well. There was some really awesome music being made in these past three weeks!
