Astoria, N.Y. - On August 19th, The Albatross Bar will hold the Second Annual Date Auction to benefit The Matthew Shepard Foundation. The event will take place at the Albatross Bar 36-19 24th Avenue @ 37th Street in Astoria.
The Albatross bar, a cozy and friendly neighborhood bar in Queens, raised $2100 for the organization during last year's event.

The Evening, hosted by drag performer Candy Samples and Jeremy Hovies from Sirius Out Q Radio, will include the chance to bid on dates with some of the hottest men and women in Astoria. Raffle prizes, other auction items, as well as drag performances and music will also be featured throughout the evening.
