Well, fuck dat – gimme the keys!

I have not had the time to monitor the progress of the "monkey project" this week.  We were after 1000 visits - the my MySpace console says we are at 1200, but that little map deal (myworld map visitor) is at <700.  Who is right?  Well, who really cares, except me!  I don't think MySpace really wants us to be able to track metrics.

The nice news, Google has kicked down with indexing - http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site%3Awww.myspace.com%2Fakamonk  – proving MySpace sites can get traction in a rapid fashion.  The average web site takes 3-6 months to gain any results in Google.

So, the next trick is to deliver results for the desired search term – "Msyspace SEO and Promotion"

A quick check shows Monkey is not in the top 100 for our search term – lets add some key links and check back in two weeks.
