The recording of the chapel show just got handed to me from engineer Steve Ha ( the Livingroom). On June 14th i hosted an evening of music at a 19th century chapel in sea gate, coney island , brooklyn. Steve did sound that night and put up 1 mic in the middle of the room to capture the night. There was a huge storm that evening. All the streets were Flooded. Every one who walked into the chapel that night was soaked. When Tara Angell kicked off the night with her incredible set , the thunder punctuated each line she sang.
We played in the middle and the Voyces ended the night . You can hear the natural reverb in the chapel. Big ass reverb. The drums and piano seem faraway but so
immediate in the track i put up for you to listen to.The song is Blanket White Sky, it was our opening song of the set. . I'll put more up soon. It was a really magical night..
