Greetings from Philly! I'm overlooking the city from 20 floors up, sandwiched between the sparkling blue sky and the freezing asphalt. Before I launch into things, I just want to say hi and welcome to everyone who is new to the mailing list! The worker elves are on strike, and it's possible that the folk singer in charge got a little behind on administrative duties, so there may be a few more of you than usual....so welcome! Here's how this works:

I: 28 DOWN, 31 TO GO!
II: ALBUM UPDATE!
III: IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO Pre-Order Your Copy!
IV: ATLANTA: Tickets on Sale Now for End-of-Tour Party!
V. UPCOMING SHOWS

I: 28 down, 31 to go!
Since my last big email, I've been on the road for about 5 weeks and played almost 30 shows. I ended the first leg with the amazing Jenn Grinels at Folk Alliance (in the words of John Elliot, "The most easily defeated alliance ever") in Memphis and left the conference with my new tour partner, Raina Rose (songbird/wordsmith/acoustic guitar ninja out of Austin, TX).
If you live in PA, NY, VA, MA, NH, VT, ME, CT, DE, DC, NC or GA...Lookout! We've got 31 shows in the next 31 days and one of them is in your back yard! Details below : )

II: Album Update!
Work on my 2nd full length studio album is still underway! Even as I'm out on the road, Atlanta producer extraordinaire Will Robertson (who I prefer to call The Will of Robertson, or TWOR for short) is mixing feverishly and sneaking in a few last minute overdubs. We should finalize things in the days after I get back to GA in April and are still aiming for a late summer/early autumn release. Wahoo!

III: Pre-Order Your Copy
As many of you know, I am proud to be an independent, full-time musician, touring and releasing records with the sole financial support of music fans like you. I am still taking pre-orders for my new CD and seeking donations to the album recording fund to help cover the costs of delivering these songs from my brain to your ears. Visit www.rebeccaloebe.com/preorder.htm to see the list of fun prizes I've come up with to thank you for help with the financial end of things, including advance copies of the album (with and without audio commentary!), tickets to your local CD Release party, YOUR NAME IN THE LINER NOTES and even a concert in your home!
Check out all the details at www.rebeccaloebe.com/preorder.htm

IV: ATLANTA: Tickets on Sale Now for End-of-Tour Party!
All upcoming shows are listed below, but I wanted to give a special heads up to everyone in the ATL (aw, hell! Everyone south of the iHop/WaHo line!) that this long and glorious 70-day tour odyssey will be celebrated in style on April 4th with an end-of-tour party/show at the HARD ROCK CAFE!

Please check out the link below to get your tickets for
Hard Rock Cafe's March on Stage Presents: Rebecca Loebe and Friends
(I'm not kidding, that's what it's called. Hope you can make it!)

If you made it this far, clearly you deserve a prize. So I'll tell you that I'm 90% sure that I'm going to call the new album "Mystery Prize." What do you think?!

Warm hugs,
~becca

ps: Don't tell me if you don't like the title Mystery Prize. I'd cry. It's like telling someone what you're going to name your kid....probably not a good idea.
