Hi all

Every now and again I come across a poem that was first published in Side Stream, in another publication.  It's always great to see people's work appearing in other publications, and of course you are free to submit these pieces to other sources.  However, I have yet to see the appropriate acknowledgement in any of these publications, acknowledging that the piece was first published in Side Stream.  When you submit a poem that has been published in Side Stream to another publication it is important that you inform the publication that it has been previously published (and in what issue), so they can make the appropriate acknowledgements.  This is mentioned in the submission guidelines for Side Stream, but I wanted to bring your attention to it, as it has been frequently overlooked.
