Current mood: exhausted
Wow am I beat. Just got back from ComiCon in San Diego where Kevin J. Anderson was able to get us a table and we tested the waters of selling music at one of these kinds of shows. We did pretty good, but not sure if it was worth the effort of batteling through 150,000 people for 5 days just to go to the bathroom, or $225 a night for Motel 6 or $9 sandwiches, however, it was fun as hell to run in to so many actors and authors and artists. I could go on forever on the people I ran in to in the hallway or bathroom, but what was really fun was that we had a few actors that spent time in our booth doing autographs, namely Tuvok and Ensign Kim from Star Trek Voyager and Tony Todd who is notable for being the Candyman in that horror series. What was fun as each guy was there at different times and were only busy in spurts is that I had the chance to basically just sit and BS with them for hours, it was a whole lot of fun and we exchanged many funny stories and had fun watching the people in costume walking along.
Anyway, my feet hurt and I've got loads of business to catch up on now, but thought I'd share a bit of that experience.
