It is sad to hear that the earliest confirmed case of swine flu was a child in Mexico who got sick in late March 2009 but nobody found out about the swine flu until near the end of April. Still, I don't see any prompt actions taken by the U.S. government yet. They have ignored to close schools and there are no public service announcements on T.V. Even the U.S. homeland security and airline staff are without masks and gloves at airports since the U.S. government thinks such preventive measures would create panic and mass hysteria among the public. This kind of irresponsible attitude is ridiculous. Moreover, the U.S. government has not provided vaccines to the public in Mexico. Therefore, global peace team and I urge President Obama to take prompt action to give vaccines to Mexico A.S.A.P. and U.S. schools should be closed until the swine flu subsides.
