So.... as many of you may already know, I recently started a music promotion and indie/unsigned artist community called want-signed.com.  The idea of the site is to offer unsigned musicians a place to upload high quality versions of their tunes, and soon they will also be able to sell them if they choose to, without having to pay the hefty commissions that other sites charge.  Also, once sales are integrated and we have more labels on board, the top selling artists each month would be considered for professional releases with our affiliated labels.  (So far we just have one affiliated label, but others are in the works.)

We're up to about 30 artists on the site now, and it's only a couple weeks old.  I personally want to thank everyone who has supported the site in any way, whether it be by signing up as an artist, or just people who have stopped by to listen to the tunes.  The site radio on the main page has over 5 hours of music on it, all from artists on the site.

Also, there's a sub-domain of the site, poets.want-signed.com, where you can post your original poetry, lyrics and short stories.  It's also a neat place to be while listening to tunes on the main site. 

Anyone can sign up as a subscriber or artist, and leave comments on any page they wish.  So feel free to stop by and give some big ups to your favorite want-signed artists!
