From THE MAD SYSTEM-blog.JPG)
One year has passed since I started up my musical project
tlbmS and it seems like a good time to make status, and sum up what has happened through-out the year.
::Remix::This seems like a good place to start. Since I made my first remix ever November this year (Fantasy by Swedish/Spanish
Rolax), I have made at least one remix a month. All my remixes are a result of networking via myspace... most of them on request from the artists. Here is a list of the released tracks... and a list of the tracks yet to be released:
Tokio - Cool (2008)
Jô Mistinguett - Personal Fuck (2008)
[link]Chose Chaton - Mousseline Noir (2008)
[link]egoRiis - While They're in Copenhagen (2008)
Duné - 80years (2008)
[link]Chez Debs - Mind Out (2008)
[link]Honey Lobell - The Moon (2008)
[link]Rolax - Fantasy (2007)
[link]Not released yet:
PressPlay - PLAYhot (2008)
[link]la la naïve - My favourite place (2008)
[link]Private Dancers - Well well girl (2008)
[link]::The Brazillian Adventure::
My brazillian adventure started out with my remix of
Jô Mistinguett's awesome song Personal Fuck. Since then I have been in contact with her on a weekly basis, and am currently working on getting her to Denmark and play. After that I was contacted by the Brazillian radio
Misturinha who wanted to put my songs on air... and later made an interview with me. Find it
here. It is a strange feeling having backup from a place so far away... but it warms my heart to know that people are dancing to my tracks in some of the Brazillian clubs. The latest news from Brazil will be my upcoming remix of
Private Dancers, but more about this later.
::Coorperation and alloy alloy::This year I also started coorperating with the amazing performer and electro musician
Chez Debs. It was a fun internet hookup since we have written a few mails back and forth some years ago on the music-portal
MyMusic. December 2007 we made our first go at making a track, which resulted in a euro-electro song called "All Night". And when I was booked to play at Vesterbro Festival in Copenhagen, I of course dragged her with me to give my performance more punch.
The show at Vesterbro Festival went amazingly well... and a few days after we decided to make the coorperation permanent and made the band
alloy alloy. We are finsihing our demo EP at the moment and work hard to get some gigs going... and bring the party to the people.
::The Name::When I first started out a year ago, my I named my project
tlbmS as an abreviation for "the lovely but mad System". But slowly I found out that people find it hard to pronounce and write (often it becomes tblmS or tmblS). So I've decided to put
The Mad System into use instead. Hopefully this will spare me some trouble *grins*.
::Plans::The coming year I plan to do alot of gigging in Denmark and hopefully Europe - both as a solo act and with alloy alloy. I also work with
net-lab on making a free net-release with my tracks... hopefully it will be ready in a few months.
Beside that I have a job to attend and a master thesis to write... so busy days awaits me.
