Next up are Kinsheeva, who are pretty wired from the moment they hit the stage, dressed as they are in full head scarves yet naked form the waist up. There's only two of them bringing a weird blend of Hard Dance/Trance over-dubbed by un-sampled vocals. Everyone is pretty astounded by the complexity of the songs but also the intensity – it's like having your teeth drilled - you know it's good for you but it can be uncomfortable. Nevertheless, they are entertaining - the synth player thrashes his body about like he's just drank a pint of weed killer and the bassist plays as if his soul is forfeit after the show. It's clear there's something special about Kinsheeva, the ideas and musical ability alone demand attention. Kinsheeva could be on the verge of great things, we'll have to wait and see.
