Vinyl Collective's Vinyl Cooperative is excited to announce its third release, A Wilhelm Scream's "Mute Print" on limited edition vinyl. The album was originally released by Nitro Records on Compact Disc in 2004. This album was their first album for Nitro Records.
A Wilhelm Scream's "Mute Print" LP will be pressed on 2 colors (333 on black vinyl, 667 on Mustardy Yellow vinyl). Since the 210 unit holders and 10 board members will all receive copies of the most limited color in addition to band and label copies, only 40 will be available for sale in our pre-order. There will be 500 copies of the Mustardy Yellow(*THEY WERE OUT OF KETCHUPY RED) vinyl available but there is a very high likelihood that these will sell out before entering the retail marketplace. The vinyl is expected to be finished by the end of August/early September.(*SO GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER AND ORDER THE FUCKING VINYL).
A Wilhelm Scream is a punk rock/melodic hardcore band from New Bedford, Massachusetts. Many people have referenced Strung Out, Hot Water Music, Propagandhi, and Strike Anywhere as the band's similar artists. Their name is a reference to the Wilhelm scream, a famous stock sound effect which mainly is used in films. (*THAT'S WHAT IT SAYS ON WIKIPEDIA!)
