Hello! I hope everyone had a wonderful New Years! For the past few weeks I have been home enjoying a nice relaxed vacation in New York City.
In recent News - I just got back from Los Angeles a few weeks ago where the first 3 songs for my project were recorded. These songs were co-written with the help of Hillary Bernstein (Licensing - Sony Music) and Kevin Fisher (Sara Evans, Rascal Flatts). I am also happy to say with the help of Grammy Winning Engineer!!! Matty Spindel (Rick Springfield, Santana, Motley Crue, Bruce Hornsby, Fleetwood Mac, Kiss, Vince Neil, Don Henley, Tom Petty, All-4-One, Tom Scott, George Benson and War) and Jeff Gross (Producer/Percussionist - Terminator in the music business has worked with Brian Wilson, Rick Springfield, Todd Schumer - Drummer for Styx) were able to bring in Matt Laug (Drummed for Alanis Morissett's Jagged Little Pill) Lance Morrison (Current Bass player for Don Henley, and also played bass for Alanis Morissett's - Jagged Little Pill) and guitarist James (Rick Springfield and all the clubs in Hollywood) to record the songs. What a blast it was!
If you want to hear some of the new songs? Acoustic versions of The Sweetest Tune and Save Me are currently on my myspace website. The full versions are on their way and expect more new songs later in the year.
In Current News - I'm heading off to the Mid West after a few weeks at home. I will be teaming up with my Mid West Promotional Manager Beth Shandles and my other power house PR Team Member Dana. Will be stopping in Chicago, IL where I'll be performing Friday February 1st at The Uncommon Ground. Show time 10 pm sharp! Don't miss it cause the venue has an awsome acoustic set up!
