First off, we want to say thank you to Dave Dardis at the Rainmaker in Makanda for giving us the oppertunity to play for the entire summer in the garden. It is such a beautiful place to play.
We played Vulture Fest Sunday, and had a really great time. The people really enjoyed it, and if memory serves me correctly, it was the biggest crowd we have played for to date. At the start of our set, I broke a string on my Telecaster, but my buddy Grant Morgan came to the rescue and let me use his guitar until the crew put a string on. We got a standing ovation following our version of B.B. King's "How Blue Can You Get?" and it was great. We love the Vulture Fest, and we hope that we will be fortunate enough to play again next year!
