I'm pleased to announce the dates for my upcoming book tour.

The book is called "My Custom Van (and 50 other mind-blowing essays that will blow your mind all over your face)." It comes out July 15th, and I am going on a little book tour to promote the shit out of it.

If you're wondering whether or not it's any good, Stephen Colbert says, "Michael Ian Black has proven that even the most simple-minded among us can occasionally create works of genius."

Pre-order the book on Amazon here.

Here are the dates:

BOOK TOUR for "My Custom Van"

July 15th | Barnes & Noble/Tribeca, New York, NY - 7:00 pm
July 16th | Bryant Park event, New York, NY - 12:00pm
July 18th | RJ Julia, Madison, CT - 7:00pm
July 19th | Borders, Boston, MA - 2:00pm
July 21st | Books-A-Million, Chicago, IL - 12:00pm
July 22nd | Third Place Books, Seattle, WA - 7:00pm
July 23rd | Book Passage, San Francisco, CA - 7:00pm

This will finally be the perfect opportunity for us to meet and kiss.

You NEED to set a southren ca date! La or Santa Monica, Ventura would be even more convenient, and I'm all that really matters.

I'm not buying in till you come to southren ca!

Ok, yeah I will, but I wont be happy about it!

no kudos!

I completely concur - Florida would just be fantastical to add to your book tour! We have beaches! We have drunken frat boys infected with STDs! We have awesome shirts that say things like "I got my crabs at Joe's crab shack!"

You could totally stay at my house.

I may have to sneak you in through the window though so my parents don't find out :/

Yeah, but Stephen Colbert also claims that JFK was killed by a bad case of syphilis... so take anything he says with a grain of salt.

Southern California is a pretty new, hip place if you haven't heard of it before. The economy is nice and such. We are a simple kinda folk. Come check it out sometime, MIB! jk

Sounds like fun, you lucky bastards!

Congrats on your book/book tour! And, I hate to be a complainer, but um, what about Portland, OR? It's right smack dab in the middle of Seattle & San Francisco? Besides that, I missed seeing you at the Wet Hot American Summer screening here. Michael Showalter was there all by himself, sick as a dog & all. Please reconsider. I love you!

Not only will be in Chicago, but you will be there at lunchtime, in the building next door to the one I work in. I'm so there it's ridiculous. I could not even be more there, even if I was there right now.

This is why I made the move from Texas to Chicago. Texas<Chicago.

For those, like myself, planning on going to the Boston (it's actually Wareham which isn't even close to Boston by Mass. standards but don't tell Mike) we should plan some kind of tailgate party. Also , anyone who has been to any of Mike's other signings (or Mike yourself) ; I was wondering how strict the handlers have been because I would like to get my "Ed" script signed too but I don't want to be dragged from the table by goons.

For those going to the 7/22 Seattle- it's actually Lake Forest Park and according to the store it's at 6, not 7. We'll see.....
