"Army Reservist Staff Sgt. Brett Bennethum was ordered to Iraq in July.

His four-year-old daughter Paige had a hard time letting go, so much that she held onto his hand in formation.

No one, including the commanding officer, had the heart to pull her away."

Thank you for your service & sacrifice.

It matters.

OTEP

Thank you for your support Otep. I recently returned from Iraq myself. I also have two daughters I had to say good bye to. It's certainly not an easy thing to do.
Thank you.

aww that's so sweet!  My hubby has been sent out last winter and it was hard on us all, my kids especially.  Noone feels the sting of this horrible war as badly as the children do (on both sides too)

This puts me in tears. I grew up with a father who was constantly overseas. Thank you for supporting our troops, Otep! You're an amazing WMN.

Thank you for yor support and all you've dont to try and tell America how fucked this situation is. But we still have more to do!

He at least got to say proper goodbyes to his family. I couldn't give my girlfriend of 3 years that one final kiss goodbye. That is what kills. Get DADT outta here!
