	The Crooked Man	corey doesn't under stand why ali made it to no. 1 and alot of ppl probably don't, allow me to probably explain some what...he had a left jab that hit like a powerful right,and his foot work was amazing for someone in his weight class, overall it was his ability to strike with the left,and obtain knock outs from just the jab alone! correct me if im wrong on this. 	PAULIE WALNUTZ	good list and as always very debatable as with any list but the only thing i would change here would be tunney and dempsey tunney beat dempsey 2 times although the second one will be forever a question mark because of the knockdown and long count in the seventh when clearly dempsey knocked tunney out and got the benefit of dempsey being a complete idiot and not going to the neutral corner as he asked for prior to the fight which in those days there was no neutral corner guys used to get knocked down and then mauled on return to there feet. and i may change sonny liston and frazier only because frazier defeated ali and i think that gets him a top ten nod but otherwise very hard to deny this list ................ the one and only paulie walnutz the only man on the earth to discuss boxing for hours on end with mr hyde ya digggggggggggg   Posted by PAULIE WALNUTZ on Wednesday, November 05, 2008 - 11:25 PM [Reply to this]

	Chris(NFKTD)	great list.i think tysons the best ever.super speed and power.the guy showed he could throw 4 punches on a punching bag in less then a second.perfect stamina. he could take alot of good punches and great haymakers perfectly targeted.tyson and ali would beat every other fighter on the list and i think if they fought 12 are 15 rounds tyson would win a decision. it'd be the same as the biggs fight only longer.   Posted by Chris(NFKTD) on Saturday, November 15, 2008 - 8:57 PM [Reply to this]

	FIRST-AND-ONLY B B	we gotta remember too. the old school boxers had lighter gloves, and realy lax rules in the ring. guys back in the day would sometimes fight twice in one night. also reffs were not as vigalent as today. today, if a boxer cant even keep his balance, the reff calls it. back in the day, the reff just made sure the ation continued. so the older boxers like marciano, dempsey, louis. fought harder and more dangerous fights back then. shit,  frazier was mostly blind in one eye during his days in the ring, old school boxing guys had  tougher fights, and even more fatal. dudes got killed in the ring all the time. mostly in the Jimmy Bradick days. sorry for all the spelling errors.   Posted by FIRST-AND-ONLY on Thursday, July 02, 2009 - 4:04 PM [Reply to this]
