Too bad I'm so far away. I'd be able to get tech supplied easy! Kinda far for a one off!

Sounds like a great idea.

Hey Travis,

Great idea!!

I have read your posting but am still [sorry!] unclear on what you yourself are really interested in doing.

What <myspace>size</myspace> venue are you looking for. (I'm in Milwaukee, WI.) - I feel you could without a doubt get an interest in this. I myself however am not in a situation to book you personally yet I do know plenty of people who are and can accomidate you and most/all of your needs.

So I guess it's up to you on how intimate it is you'd like to get (50, 200, 500, 1000 people?). What amount of time are you willing to play? Am I to assume this will be only newer material [and/or] will it include older material as well? Hey, I'd even open for you for free - of course unplugged as well (just an option)

Lol!! Last question.

So you basically want this to be set up by a club owner (whomever it may concern, etc.) so as to basically have an offer put on the table ...going directly through you; then decide if you're interested or not?

I'm a fan an would like to see you in concert... Good luck with this endeavor.

Hope to see you in the Milwaukee area very soon.

L8R,

Doug Luna aka Corporate Angel

Yes, please. Any local dive in this stink-town could do that. I would love to host it at my home, but it is too small. To hear your music in this type of setting would be unbelievable. I can't wait for the new album. You might as well make it a dual disc, I need something to tide me over for the next 7 years! Ha. I'll be your second guitarist, and backing vocalist, if need be. -Jeremy... Muskegon, MI.

I am defiantly intrested. We have spoken to you on several occasions when you have played in St. Pete, Florida about booking a private show with you. Could you send your rider or your sound requirements and I will review what is needed and get back with you? We should have access to any equipment/spund system you need. My direct e-mail is jamiegodfreylowe@yahoo.com or you can contact me via myspace. We have 100 acres of private land in Groveland, Florida-a suburb of Orlando. Zoning code-legal noise will not be an issue. I will look into permits if neccessary, but doubtful. I would estimate 100-150 people. Please advise if you prefer more or less attendees. All would be people we know and trust and it would be by invite only.

That'd be the most amazing thing ever, but unfortunately I have no sound system, things you would need, etc. So that sucks. But I think it's really cool that you'd do something like this. And I just have that much more respect for you, because you're really cool with your fans.

but damn that'd be amazing haha

I doubt you'd come to Canada for this, unless there was enough demand and you had the time and resources. My friend has a nice spacious loft where his band practices and plays for parties. The sound is already set up and ready for additional instruments.

Remember me from Edmonton? I live a 2 1/2 hour drive east of there in a town called Lloydminster. If not a private show, perhaps we can book you at a local venue on a future tour!

There are gobs of places in Springfield, MO that are hopping now, and would be glad to have you. I can think of several places that would be great; we'd need to really talk finances, but the Front Porch is a highly accessible venue you might enjoy; Remington's Downtown is a more sizable one, and finances wouldn't be an issue at all.

Contact us if interested.

I think you might like Red Dirt Island. Its close enough to charelotte for that fanbase to make it out. Please check them out I mention you to them and they are very interested, and have a soundboard, and most other things you may wish to use. It's out door but set in the trees, thought that may appeal. http://www.myspace.com/reddirtisland

Travis,

Would you entertain playing the East Coast, specifically here in the college town of Boston? Venues of all <myspace>size</myspace>s from the most intimate (Harper's Ferry, The Paradise, Avalon) all the way up to theatre settings such as The Orpheum (Trent Reznor played here to test how receptive people were to "With Teeth" before his opeing up to larger settings and I personally witnessed Fiona Apple play here as well; great acoustics). Not sure what type of counter-part you're looking for, but I've had a very popular soloist play for me a couple of times (Ryan Montbleau) and my cousin is one of the best all-around musicians (drums and all guitars) I have ever laid eyes on (plays with a couple of Areosmith's kids (Kramer & Perry) in the Plymouth, MA area). The current band he's playing with is called "Dirty Water" and they've got a site set up here on Myspace. I've seen him play with all types of bands and think he'd make an incredible compliment to your music. In any event, we'd all love to see you out here in Boston. If I could be of any assistance in getting you out here, please don't hesitate to ask. Can't wait for the new album.

Best,

-Mike

Hey Travis,
There is a new place called The Fillmor that just opened in my town of Wausau, Wisconsin and seems to be the new hot spot for good shows. If interested contact Bill Miller at (715) 848-9010. To check out some pictures of the Fillmor you can go to www.thefillmor.com and for booking - www.booking@thefillmor.com
6 to 7 piece band could accompany this stage, maybe more. The acoustics sound good and would talk to you more if really interested, to see if they meet what you guys need to play. This town could really use a show like yours around here.
thanks for the time to consider
jeremy

Hey Travis,
it's Andrew. We would like for you to play at our bar in Duluth/John's Creek Georgia.
We (especially me) are fans of your art.
I saw your show at Smith's Olde Bar in Atlanta. We can host you at our bar and can assist you with setting up sound equipment.

I'm also a musician, and can help you with anything I can.

Come to Cornwall in the UK, chill the fuck out for a week or so, have a surf and stuff, and play at our rehersal studio. You can plug right into our P.A, and there are green fields in every direction. Hell, the studio has double glass doors all the way along it's edge that open right out onto a massive garden and orchard. No shit! Could have an awesomely intimate party there.
Do It!

Don't know if distance is an issue here. I may live in an apartment, but I have all the equipment. Thing is, it's an apartment. I could get evicted, organizing such event here indoors. I got to thinking, though, and I have the perfect solution. For an actual show you can play at the Dahl's Arts Center here in Rapid City, SD. The other place you can play a more intimate, yet outdoor, show would be at Art Alley which is downtown Rapid City. It's an alley where everyone goes and creates amazing art on the walls of the businesses (back of the buildings). They have a myspace with pictures of the alley. I've seen hookups for power, and I can see it especially working out cos the businesses are mostly bars in that area. Everyone here LOVES DOTN. I think coming here will blow the minds of many people. I've met too many people that like DOTN here. If you would like me to try and set something up for you, I would be more than happy to. I have the power to book shows. All I have to do is make calls. Send me a PM if you need me :) Also, as you can tell I write my own tunes and collaborate with other artists. I would love to open for you too, and maybe even be a part of your act, who knows. I know most of your songs on guitar. We'll see how everything pans out. Hit me back. (You know you surprised me when I found out you grew up and came out of a town one hour away from my birthplace in Indiana. I didn't think anything came from there.....)
