Well I certainly can't use two tickets but I do hope you can make it out to the Seattle, Washington, USA area sometime! I enjoy the live stuff I find on YouTube.

Since yesterday evening in Ghent I know 3 things I didn't know before: there are people in this world with the lovely name Inara, Lowell George from Little Feat had a daughter, and Inara George is a very talented songwriter singer and performer. I read an interview with Van Dyke Parks in the newspaper on Friday and heard he had a quartet and Lowell George's daughter with him, and they came to my home town so I really was curious and after viewing a clip of Tell me you love me on Youtube I had to go. The concert was like a vintage bottle of wine on a winter evening: delicious and heartwarming. Mr. Parks brought some great musicians with him and Mrs. George has a velvet yet cristal clear voice that flawlessly finds it ways in the sinous bends of the beautiful beautiful melodies she writes. And she has a very charming stage personality. Inara and Van Dyke and the musicians, thanks for coming to a small town in Flanders on a cold November day, hope you will be back some day for more magic. RBG

Dear Inara,

Thanks for the lovely concert in Ghent ! I already had my tickets. I thought the intimate café théâtre setting was just perfect for your music and the way you and the band presented it.

I hope you'll return to Belgium soon...

Warm regards,
David.

ps Send my best wishes to Van Dyke !

Hi! I see you're hanging around Europe! I'm a listener of your music for a while now and I would like very much to hear live.
How about a small stop in Portugal??

Good gig!
