A Personal Message from Debbie:
A Ritual of Love
Where does love exist? Is it out there in someone else? Do we have to wait for them to look at us in a particular way, buy us a rose or compliment us on our latest accomplishment?
Every day, I hear the cries of so many waiting to be loved, to find love, to feel love, like it is something that one must be worthy enough to feel. Instead, love is your birthright. It is the spiritual juice that vibrates and exists in every cell of our body. It is the dessert of the soul -- light, delicious, healthy and free. It is there to be savored, to be delighted in and to share.
But first, we must give it to ourselves -- not by claiming it in our minds but by opening up to the force that is trying to get in past our egos, past our emotional wounds, past our busy minds and past our outdated beliefs which limit the amount of love we can give to ourselves, others and the world.
Yes, today is the day to drench yourself in love, to bathe yourself in the soft and tender vibration of love. Begin today by loving everything that is right about you -- your toes, your arms, your sight, your hearing, your lungs, your kidneys and your breath. Love your ability to think, to make choices and to allow others into your life. Love what you have hated. Love what you have denied. Love the two-year-old, the three-year-old and the 17-year-old who are aching for acknowledgment. You can do it!
Give yourself a holy shower of love and blessings on this special day and know that you are not only loved by so many but that you are the love. Claim your birthright today in a holy ritual of love for all of who you are -- the divine and the imperfect. Write yourself an amazing love letter in honor of this day of love.
And when you are filled with your own love and G_d's love, then send it out to all those around you. Give it to your spouse, your kids, your co-workers, your mailperson and on and on. Be love, not like some arrogant form of a wounded ego but rather a pure expression of the greatest gift of all... the gift of pure and untainted DIVINE LOVE.
With love and blessings,
Debbie Ford
