So you may have noticed the Squad laying low a bit lately.  Fewer personal appearances, less press exposure.  We were taking a break and recording some new material.

When we did that, we had no idea these upstarts, so-called presidential candidates and The Economy (some Australian "power pop" band), would leap into the void we left to saturate the media night and day.

We now understand that when the Squad chills out, it can be good for us but tough for America, and we can't let it go any longer.

The World Racketeering Squad roars back into action this Wednesday, October 15, at the Carousel Lounge.  The Jonny_Dub Band opens the show at 9PM.


Whether you're a newshound, in puppy love with Obama or Palin, or nothin' but a hound dog, we promise a big juicy bone with a marrow of pure rock and roll to get you howling at the moon and wagging your tail.

Then, a mere two weeks later, join the Squad for short set at Reed's 11th annual Halloween Party, taking place at WRS Headquarters, 5908 Belfast, in East Austin on November 1st, Dia De Los Muertos.  The living will rock and the dead will roll, and you should be there for the full costume extravaganza!

Wake up America!  It's Time to Rock!
