It has become apparent to us that ending now on a good note would be the best way to go out for Life In Your Way. Of course there are specific reasons why it is a good time to end the over 9 years of music, touring, band member changes, hundreds of different merchandise designs, passions and frustrations of being in a band for that long. There is no reason to get into each one; they are just the obvious if you can relate to musicians in this kind of scene.

We’ve loved every minute of it! Some or our biggest joy’s in life has come from being in this group. Meeting people all around the country and world, getting to know some of our favorite bands and building relationships that outlast a band or a genre, this has been the biggest blessing. The music we’ve been able to write, producers we’ve been amazed with and record labels that have believed in us has been a dream come true. We hope our music will live on for people, having a grasping hold on fans and new fans to come. Without music, the world would be entirely boring and even more self destructive. All in all LIYW has in no way been a waste of time for any of its members!

We are still looking and waiting for where each one of us may go off to. There has been talk about doing another band with most of the members. It is a definite that we will all be involved in music for the rest of our lives. You can be on the look out for where each one of us might put our time into musically.

We’d like to thank the following people and groups for their support, only more recent ones because the list would go on for ever from the past 9 years.

Chad and Solid State/ Tooth & Nail, Jay and Seth @ DayBreak Media/ Buzzgrinder, James and Faveur Fashion, Adam and Charlie @ ThreeBears, Rob and Dan @ Guitar Center Manchester, James and PrintIndie, Joshua @ Merchspin, Jesse and Joshua @ The Anchor in Nashville/ Anchor Stage, Ryan Rado, Tara Ruttle @ BackBay Booking, Scott @ KobraKlutch, Greg @ Silver Bullet Studios, Orange Amps, Truth Drums, Ernie Ball and most importantly our families, friends, all the great bands we know, The local kids from Connecticut and anyone who has bought a cd of ours.

The band is not over this moment.

LIYW is coming up on a full US tour w/ Burden of a Day, Means, For Today and In Fear & Faith. This tour will definitely be the last for most of the country. It will be doing a small tour to Cornerstone IL. Either way, the last will be local, in Connecticut. We will have some of our favorite bands play (our best friends in music). We’d ask for all to come out, young and old. We will be pulling out old material, songs from all 3 records. This grand finally will happen in late June to July.

Come and catch the last show near you.

Thanks.

This is some of the worst news I've heard in a long time.
You guys are one of my absolute favorite bands.
But, I guess all good things come to an end.
Good luck with whatever you guys do in the future and God Bless.

I'll definitely be in Dover friday to see you.

Wow, this really saddens me. You've been one of my favorite bands for a while now and its gonna really suck knowing your breaking up. Ill keep a watch out for your future projects apart from Life in Your Way. Josh, your voice is the main reason I got into screaming and I think you have one of the greatest vocals out there if not the best. I can't wait for you guys to come back to Lynchburg for the last time. I'll definitely be there if I have to skip work or whatever. Thanks for making such great music over the years.

I was really hoping this was an late april fools stunt when I read the title...

Seriously depressing news. you guys are the greatest and your music is untouchable by anybody else.

I know you have had an impact on tons of people, especially helping to strengthen faith in the good Lord above! because its exactly what you guys have done for me.

I will for sure be seeing you guys at C-stone!

God Bless you guys!!

No other band of this liking has inspired me the way you have. I am deeply saddened, yet very grateful. Grateful for the simple fact that your music, has such great meaning and heart behind it. You are not, and never were afraid to show what you were really about. Thank you for being such a great inspiration, and wonderful dudes. Take care, good luck, and most importantly, God Bless!

Every band has a meaning and a statement, but LIFE IN YOUR WAY is one of the only I truly believe in.....but maybe, me being from CT watching this band change and grow I am a little bias,

but I really do believe what life in your way brought to the table was unique and amazing,, not just by the music but the way they lead there lives, they're love for god is a truly beautiful thing in such a dark perverse world..

.....it will be very sad to see this light come to an end, but I am thankful for all they have done for everyone in the years of tragedy and triumph, and all the inspiration through music they have given me personally ... if any of you five dudes read this, I really hope you realized how many lives you've touched, its not common anymore and words aren't enough to describe it.

best of luck in the future, you know I'll be at as many of these last shows as I can.

I don't really know what to think right now. I just got into you guys recently (like November)...and your lyrics and music really inspired me all throughout my senior year, causing you guys to be one of my favorite bands. And now, one of the most spiritually sound bands in the music industry is breaking up? Figures. I'm not bitter though...just dissapointed. I know that there are factors that come into play that we don't know or care to know about..plus I don't think a band should just stay b/c the fans want them to..they have to have a burning desire on the inside. This may be the case here, but again there could be family, financial, friendship issues, I don't know, and I dont really care to know. You guys just need to make sure that you follow the Lord's calling, which I'm sure you are. And who knows, maybe you'll pull an As Cities Burn on us? I wish you guys luck for the future and be blessed! (You don't get any kudos :P)

Maybe the band is ending now...but what you've sing, what you told me in your songs will never loose its sence...sad, that I only got the chance to see you guys one time here in germany. You payed with intruder and more than ever. For a moment you tear up the sky for me. Your music makes me moving, thinking and changing myself for more than 2 1/2 years now. You pave my way to god and to believe in what i feel...no matter if there are dark days or bright days your music gives me always what i want to feel...be blessed, all of you...you give me that, so overwelmingly feeling inside...and the echos will hold on for a long time inside me...thank you for beeing Life In Your Way. Thank you for showing me this music, this feelings, this lyrics...your message! dennis from germany best luck on your further path!
