..............

Hi!....
It has been a while since I had posted here. Almost a month pasted after Total Armageddon SUMMER '08. and seems like it's very time to write kind of report.....
We've met thousands of problems on our way of making the fest this summer. But you can't even compare it to what we've faced when the fest was about to start. I won't go into details here, but it was a hard time for us. As usually, we didn't sleep, did't eat, didn't rest. But, as mane times before, God helped us, supported us, pushed us forward.
....
Now about pleasant moments =). The stage and camp were situated right on the sea coast. The weather was awesome all the days: not too hot, no rains... Really, a blessed time to rest. The nature in the Crimea is amazing. Mountains, caves, sea... And, what is the most great, that everything is located in one area. You don't need to make a half-day trip to mountains and back to the sea-coast. I feel really sad that our team didn't have time to go around the Crimea.

....
Now the fest itself: it was divided into three days: metal, alternative and hardcore/metalcore. Also there were seminars, divine ministries, games in the fest schedule every day. Unfortunately, I didn't visit any seminar and missed about 30% of all the bands, and I feel really sorry about it. They say, the seminars were awesome. Ministries were great as well. One of the preachers, Spike, an evangelist from Moldova, really touched my heart by the words he has said.

It will be a long and boring report if I start writing about every of 30 bands played on the stage for three days. Let's sum it up: the show was good. If we can put a mark for anything, using graduation from 1 to 5, then the stage gets 4, backline gets 3, crowd gets "4-" for first two days and 5 for the last day, bands get marks from 2 to 5, average would be 4+. As for Seventh Star, they get 10 for their show. Arriving to the festival 1 hour before their show, having no rest, pluging in on the stage with a minimum time, playing with no sound-check and having THE BEST sound on the fest - this is really A HIGH LEVEL. We haven't reached that level yet, unfortunatelly.

Seveth Star show became one of my favorite hardcore shows ever. The guys were just amazing!!! Lots of hardcore kids arrived specially on their show, making a long way from other cities. I'd like to stop here and say "thank you" to all the kids who came from Kyiv, Dneepropetrovsk and other towns and supported us. You believed in us when noone did. Thank you, guys!

We had a great time on the way back home. Shawn, Mike, Johnny and Drew from Seventh Star learned all our weird and strange ukrainian things very fast, got used to it and acted like native ukrainians. We also spent another day with Seventh Star in Kyiv. It was fun and we will remember it for a long time. Hope that guests from Ocala enjoyed it too.

Going back in memories one month back, I remember how hard and stressful everything was. But now... I really miss that time. I dream about repeating everything from the top: the Crimea, a sea-side, ministries, games, fun, shows, hanging out with Seveth Star... The Lord trully blessed that time for us. And we are the ones who didn't deserve it. But we feel and we know that He will always love us. How great it is!
