As the 2008 race for the White House gets into full swing, the debate over illegal immigration has become a hot button campaign issue. In Washington, Congress and the Bush administration are gridlocked over how to fix our broken borders. Meanwhile, Georgia has implemented one of the nation's most comprehensive immigration laws. Certain counties are now trying to enforce the law through local ordinances or law enforcement.

So what does this all mean? And why should we care?
 
Join access and friends from the Latino community for a unique opportunity to discuss the current state of immigration in Georgia.
 
On Thursday, November 1st @ 6:30pm, at No Mas Cantina, young professionals from the Jewish and Latino community will come together to discuss these issues and more in a friendly setting.
