So what's up, eh? Well not much right now. We've had a wee run of gigs, made some new friends, had lots of riotous parties and wrote some new songs along the way.
Its all taken its toll, and as a result we've had to cancel the tour we had booked in England for October. It's a bummer – but it's for the best.
We feel we need a bit of time off from the band to regroup and generally sort our lives out.
So we're gonna chill for a few weeks. Then the plan is to get back into the practise room, get some new tunes down and then head into the studio with them towards the end of the year. We've got about an albums worth of material from the set we've been playing recently, and a handful of other songs we've been working on. Once we're happy with about 14-15 of the songs, and have them recorded, we plan to put out our first album. No date is set, but we'll hopefully have it before next summer in time for a tour. It's quite an exciting prospect. No name is set for the album, and we have a few ideas flying around for the artwork. It's all still very much at the creative part of the process.
Also, The Dangerfields split will be released finally early next year, and we're gonna be putting 3 new songs on a cd that Greig from the awesome Kimberly Steaks is putting out. Good times. I think that's it for now.
See ya.
