Bell Hollow’s digital-only EP Foxgloves Extras was released by five03 Records at the end of December 2008, and is now available on iTunes, Rhapsody, and eMusic. The EP includes all five of the remixes previously heard on RCRD LBL, plus three previously unreleased Bell Hollow originals from the 2007 Foxgloves sessions (“Peru,” “Late at Night,” and “Throw Me”) which longtime fans might recall from the band’s early live performances.

We regret to also announce that this marks the end of the road for Bell Hollow. Frontman Nick Niles left the group in December to pursue his own direction, and the band have chosen not to continue. A posthumous EP of Bell Hollow’s final recordings may be released later in 2009.

To our many loyal friends and fans, the great bands we shared stages with, and the journalists and DJs who so kindly promoted our music, we say a heartfelt thanks and farewell.

Electric Chariot

We are sorry to hear this. Great band. Victoria and I are behind all the members of Bell Hollow and stand behind the possible musical choices they might decide to embark on as individuals. It was a great ride. Here is to one of the top acts on our list in the city.....- Dennis (Electric Chariot)

Though I know bands sometimes hit road blocks that they just can't get around, I'm genuinely saddened. Bell Hollow has definitely been, to me, the best band in the NY scene in years. I was hoping to catch one of your shows when I was in NY recently, but there weren't any (and now I know why). Amusingly, this is the third band that within one year has broken up without my ever having seen them play a show. (Cue wry laugh.)............Anyway, Bell Hollow's music has sincerely touched me, and that will definitely stay with me. I wish all of you luck with your future endeavors!
