an open call to artists for…

the

Gone fishin’

group art exhibit

Curated by A. S. ASHLEY

As August is the month of summer vacations, many of us remember our family camping and fishing expeditions. Therefore “GONE FISHIN’” is an art show entirely about fish: you know them, you love them, you eat them, you keep them as pets, and people even write songs about them.

This open call to artists is asking you to bring your fishy interpretation of our scaly friends!

Opening Reception August 8th, 2nd Saturday Art Walk 6pm-10pm

Closing Reception August 29th, Last Saturdays Metro Night Out 6pm-10pm

SCULPTURAL PIECES~ if free-standing, great! We have plenty of floor space for you. If your piece requires a pedestal, we can provide one.

Standard for any submissions.

I have included those points on every prospectus I've ever written...and still artists bring art NOT SUITABLE for hanging.

Which you know, I deal with accordingly.
