Hello, As of today, the FUTILITY LP is available for purchase from GRAVE MISTAKE RECORDS. The few leftover record release covers are completely gone, but there are still some red vinyl copies left over out of 300 if you're into that. Once they're gone, they're gone. Hello all! Long time no talk ... things have been busy over here at
GMHQ ... got back from Europe in early June then hit up NO WAY FEST a
few weeks back, while trying to get all of these new releases ready for
mass consumption ... anyways, It's been a long time coming, but all
five new releases are now available in the GRAVE MISTAKE RECORDS
webstore (and sooner or later in your favorite distro). Here is what is

I'm confident that everything has been well worth the wait. As much
as I want to tell you that these will be some of the best hardcore
records you will be buying this year, considering i'm in two of the
bands ... I will spare you the ego trip 
I will however say that we are all completely thrilled with how
everything turned out, and couldn't be more excited to finally to get
these releases out to the masses.
Of course there is colored vinyl for the nerds, as well as a SMALL
handful of leftover fest copies of some of the releases (act fast), and
I also just put in over 100 new 7"s, 12"s and zines into the webstore
(i think i'll be doing a separate update for that) so head on over and
pick something up!!! NO WAY RECORDS will of course also have colored
versions of both of the GOVERNMENT WARNING records, as well as a bunch

It's been a while since I've done an update ... and the first since GW
and WT have gotten back from Europe (which was a blast!) ... thanks to
everyone who helped make that tour great, and thanks to all of the show
promoters / organizers, everyone who fed us, kids who came out and the
bands that we played with, all of the old friends we saw and the new
ones we met ... i'd do a bigger list but I'm sure I'd leave someone
out. Extra thanks to Flo at Trapdoor for putting everything together
and Jonas from HOLY SHIT! records for driving us around, putting up
with our stupidity and making sure we didn't all die in a fiery van
wreck. Needless to say, both bands had an incredible time ...
Also, NO WAY FEST 3 went down a few weeks back and was an awesome time
as well ... made for a long weekend but I enjoyed pretty much every
second of it! Thanks to Brandon and Lauren for another great year, and
thanks to everyone who came out to the GRAVE MISTAKE RECORDS preshow,
that's the first time I've done something like that and it hopefully
won't be the last! If you didn't come out for the fest, you missed out
... so make the plans to come next year! Also thanks to everyone who
picked up the new releases or distro stuff at the fest. And extra
thanks to KC for hooking up all of the silkscreened covers and tshirts
on a weeks notice!

NEW GRAVE MISTAKE RELEASES FOR 7.03.2009
GRAVE032: WASTED TIME - "FUTILITY" 12"
After two killer EPs, Richmond's WASTED TIME finally unleash their
first devastating full length, FUTILITY. On this LP, WASTED TIME
continue to deliver their trademark hard-as-nails brand of US hardcore.
With the expansion of the band to a five piece, FUTILITY also finds the
band drawing from additional influences, resulting in a more massive
and ferocious sound than their previous releases.
GRAVE033: LOGIC PROBLEM - "NO CENTER" 7"
An incredible follow up EP to 2008's debut s/t 7" on SORRY STATE
RECORDS. With NO CENTER, North Carolina's LOGIC PROBLEM deliver up four
more abrupt bursts of fast and raw hardcore. While their debut EP
seemed to separately showcase two different sides of the band, this new
EP finds LOGIC PROBLEM hitting a perfect balance between the
noise/feedback drenched discordance and the straightforward fast
hardcore delivery. LOGIC PROBLEM summon an ominous and chaotic element
to keep things interesting while still managing to keep it short and to
the point for maximum impact.
GRAVE034: THE LADIES - "S/T" 7"
The debut EP from Richmond, VA's THE LADIES. Originally released in
2008 on Riff Raff records, Grave Mistake has been given the honor to
handle the repress to coincide with their two new venomous singles on
No Way and Cowabunga . Raw and obnoxious yet catchy as well,
reminiscent of early DWARVES, with a couple of short and fast rippers
thrown in to keep the crowd moving and the beer flying. Five obscene
and insulting punk anthems guaranteed to hurt someones feelings.
GRAVE035: GOVERNMENT WARNING - "PARANOID MESS" 12"
Richmond, VA's one and only GOVERNMENT WARNING are at it again.
Following 2006's “No Moderation” LP and 2007's “Arrested” EP comes
their highly anticipated second full length; PARANOID MESS delivers
fifteen more unrelenting tracks full of snotty hardcore attitude that
musically lies somewhere between ZERO BOYS, VERBAL ABUSE, FU’s or
ADOLESCENTS. The diverse songwriting that you have come to expect from
GW is still very much present on this new LP, from the high speed
hardcore blasts to the more mid tempo, hook laden fist pumpers, and
everything in between. Great sounding record that brings to mind the
golden era of US hardcore - absolutely timeless and essential. SPLIT
RELEASE WITH NO WAY RECORDS.
GRAVE036: GOVERNMENT WARNING - "EXECUTED" 7"
Brand new 45 single to accompany the new full length. Recorded in
the same session as PARANOID MESS. This was originally intended to be a
European tour single but we just opted to make it a proper release
instead. The title track charges through at varying speeds, musically
taking cues from Kings of Punk era POISON IDEA topped with Kenny's
biting vocal delivery, while the flip side backhands you with one quick
ripper in standard GW fashion, followed up with a Battalion of Saints
cover. SPLIT RELEASE WITH NO WAY RECORDS.
Distros, stores, and labels please get in touch about wholesale or
trades!!!! European distros, both the WASTED TIME 12" and GOVERNMENT
WARNING 12" have been released in europe on LA FAMILIA and LA VIDA ES
UN MUS respectively, but those versions came out over a month ago so
you should know this by now hopefully. But, unfortunately this means I
can't do any wholesale or trades on these two LPs to europe ... all of
the 7"s are available though, as well as all of the GRAVE MISTAKE
releases from earlier this year.
