Just a small 'blog' for today.
I was surfing the other day (in cyberspace of course!) and came across
another border advert for the 2012 Olympics, well a promotion anyway.
I think long after its unveiling, the logo still has'nt caught on.
Normally, I've found that whatever mainstream 'thing' is put out there
and promoted to death eventually becomes conditioned to a majority
liking.
I remember some of the bad reception towards the WWF (WWE) logo when it
changed to something that looked like someone had keyed something on a
car bonnet. This logo was accepted eventually.
Anyway... This simple 2012 logo might have been popular in say 1990,
but it looks... like something that floated around on the intro to
Saved By The Bell in a bland way - Well it does to me anyhow.
I'd be interested to see what others think. Has the logo caught on, or is it still bland?
