Hey myspacers,
In a neverending quest to fill my day with valuable activity, I've decided I might try this whole "blogging" whatsit. Does this make me Web 2.0? I don't know, but I feel like dying my hair purple and putting on a pair of girl jeans already.
So every now and then, Phil and I will receive an unsolicited screenplay pitch in our email inbox. Generally I find them pretty annoying. I mean, I have enough problems finding my car payment money every month, let alone the money to produce some other dude's film. That said, I finally received the other day that piqued my interest. It's called Ponto the Shadowdweller. And even though I have no idea what its about, I really think its genius.
So I've obscured the guy's name since I'm not technically asking for permission. Please nobody steal the guy's title, because its the greatest thing since Jesus invented the telephone. And to all of you guys out there who are contemplating sending an unsolicited pitch to me or to any number of mediocre-careered guys, let me show you how its done right. And no, I'm still not making this guy's movie. I'll probably be kicking myself for it someday.

Rise Powers Produtions,
Hello, my name is XXXX. I am a director that is about to shot a project called Evil Deeds – Ponto the Shadowdeller, an ultra low budget independent film shot in Detroit . This is my second feature and I have the whole production and post-production all ready to go. With actors attached to the script, soundtrack already made for the film and distribution companies wanting to watch the film. I want to ask if Rise Powers would be interested in funding this horror film. If so contact me at XXXX@yahoo.com and I will send you the script with a out line of everything I have done so far. I would love you aboard this project. Thank You.
