Wow.... isn't it amazing how quickly things can change and how much people LOVE to talk about the changes to my life when most of these people know NOTHING of what they speak.
First of all, I am no longer employed at The Quest Club. I was honored to work there for 6 years and I poured my heart and soul into my various jobs there.
Over the past couple of years even my closest friends have noticed how I have changed. I had not been the *happy go lucky* Mark that I always was in the past. My job and the amount of effort I put into it made me constantly stressed and unfriendly to lots of people. If you were one of those people, I apologize. I had realized that over the past few months and had tried to change at least somewhat (to become the kindler, gentler Mark). I had succeeded to a certain degree, but over the past few weeks the stress level for me had gotten to a point of no return. I realized either I had to make a change or I would end up so stressed it would kill me.
I made the decision to leave The Quest on Saturday morning. After speaking with Robert, the owner of Club Pulse Elevation, I made that decision known to the owner of The Quest. I was NOT fired, nor did my job end like some have said. I simply chose to end The Quest chapter of my life. I offered to work out a notice, but was released from that responsibility since I would be going to work for another club. Keri understood that I wasn't happy at the Quest any longer and simply wished me the best.
I'm SOOO very honored to be a part of the Club Pulse Elevation family. I feel a kindred spirit I've not felt in a VERY long time from EVERYONE there. I actually enjoy going to work during the daytime (OMG haha) and doing the behind the scenes things that I think I'm really good at. You'll still see me out on the weekends occasionally and I'll be managing on Sunday nights, but for now I'm mostly at The Club during the day.
To my Quest Family -- I still love and adore all of you that I consider to be my family. To Jamey, Cynthia, Rob, Dominique, Khia, Chivonne, Cassiday, Brianna, Genesis, Porsha, Chip, George, LeDerrick, Chappy, Janelle as well as the ladies of Generation NxXxT: Thank you for LOTS of great times. You'll NEVER know how much you mean to me.
To my Club Pulse Elevation Family -- I'm simply amazed at what an awesome group of people you are and look forward to LOTS of great times and great memories.
