When you said, "Wicka, wicka" I thought of Eminem for some reason. "Wicky wicky wicky, slim shady". Anyway, I listened to Alpha Omega because the riff caught me right off the bat. It almost sounds classical set to electric guitar. Flight of the Bumblebee stuff. Then busts off into some real driving heavy metal riffing. The drums were good, but a little too much pounding on the cymbals. Love the footwork, though. Towards the end got back into the flight of the bumblebee stuff, but this time faster, more driving. I love the way the sound builds in intensity. The end slows down, starts to remind me of Rush. I have to give this effort a 9.5! Very original, very creative, well-done! Thanks guys!

What's a Biasphere? That's not supposed to be Biosphere is it? The ambiguity of the title got me to listen to the song~. That, and I had to review you seeing as you're in the same league with Trench for indepth, long reviews. If I didn't review you, I'd be slapping myself in the FACE.
Live instrumentation is something I can't do, and by nature I envy people I can. I can, like any audience member, listen for the space between notes and the creative nature of a composition, but it's difficult to be exact and say what chords go where or something. With that aside, I REALLY enjoyed this piece. It starts out strong and, unlike a lot of instrumentals, managed to stay interesting the whole way through. That's rhythm guitar, right? It really sets the track off with this kind of funk vibe that I was feeling throughout. The second guitar could have really ripped it up on some higher notes near the end, but the tempo change-ish nature of the track really suits itself and guitar hero over the top-ness might do more harm than good.
Overall Rating: 8.6/10. This is a great above average track. The drums seemed to be kind of there for the entirety, and this isn't necessarily something new. But the composition itself is pretty rad, and I can definitely hear a lot of positive energy here. A great job through and through. I wouldn't necessarily change anything, except for a few aesthetic things here and there (like a fade out at the end).

Starts off kinda cool, curious little riffin', kind of creepy and halloweeny...I liked the feel, gets kinda heavy. Pretty intense at some points. The transition to the next part was a little awkward, but then when it changed again it was smooth and kinda cool. Goes into an odd little groove for the solo, I liked that, always keeps you guessing. The out of nowhere it goes into creepomatic overdrive. The transitions got better at the song went on. Kindof some cool interplay on the drums and such between the real and electro sounding stuff. Overall it was pretty interesting, a little loosy goosy at some points but I didn't not enjoy it. Lots of changes...kept you guessing...I like that sometimes in a song.

wow, you guys got a good group energy and feeling in your music but to me its just screaming for vocals you have amazing riffs and definitely some catchy lines but its just lacking the vocals(or some other tyeing piece) that would bring it all together. As for the song directly its a really good song, sounds studio written, very good. I like the use of the swell to really bring the song to life, theres really nothing out of place with this song aside from that it NEEDS vocals :) to reiterate myself. its got a cathy main riff and the licks sound great, recording quality could be better but hey, you guys do some amazing stuff with what you have. keep up the good work
overall - 4 (just cause it needs vocals, if it had vocals it would be an easy 5)

Right off the bat ill give you the criticism
1: timing. . . a little messy on parts in different songs
2: The Guitar sound doesnt do you justice, work on getting a fuller beefier sound
Thats pretty much it for criticism
I think it would sound awesome if you threw some vocals on some of the songs. (just a suggestion)
I like alot of the riffs that you came up with, i thought the drummer did a good job. (awesome mix on the drums)
Bass was also great, distorted at parts, but not a big deal
I like the ambient sound also that you have with the pads and all
overall id say 8/10

This isn't bad at all. The tempo changes are mostly well executed, and the main themes work well. A little more variation would probably help, but that's true of all instrumental tracks. There are some interesting sounds used. Is that a chorused guitar? And what is that at around 2:35? The rhythm guitar overpowers everything a little at the beginning, but overall the mix balance is good. You may not like me using the P word, but I hear a sort of prog rock element to your sound. Not much I can fault really. Good stuff!

Like the bass riff that leads the track off, and the variations in timbre and tone. The drums are cool, but something missed a beat about a minute 15 seconds in. I really like how this song takes off. Catchy drum beat, then a good, basic bass line, then a nice guitar arpegio part. I got a little turned off with the song when the guitar turned to distortion, that probably has something to do with my music taste.Anywhoo, I think you guys should look to change your name and find a vocalist. Don't get an A-hole who will ruin the sound you've got going, but try to find someone without a girly voice. Instrumentals are hard to get people to listen to, especially those who hate music. I took a dive with my music; my singing is awful, but I know I'd have a better chance of people listening to my songs all the way through if I was telling a story to them.

I actually have it narrowed down to two songs. I love the experimental sound of Alpha Omega. It almost sounds like something you would listen to if you were lost in a level of Zelda or something. And I mean that in a good way. But I would have to say that Gargantua was the most complete of all the tracks. It was the only one I felt that really had a beginning, middle and end. I can picture some really amazing vocals for that track. One thing I can say about all songs is that the bass lines are killer!! Keep it up fellas

As instrumentals go, there are enough new ideas introduced to keep the interest - but only just. I wonder if it would have been better to bring in the outro earlier and make it into a new section... Nevertheless, that's the first hurdle cleared. The overall production is fine. It doesn't do anything excessive or too clever; it's nicely functional and safe. A small criticism is that - to my ears at leats - the bass and drums aren't always locked perfectly. I'm not certain which (if either) is at fault, but a couple of the drum fills also lurch a little. For the most part, though, the band is tight enough. A little more variation would have topped things off; as it stands, I'll have to say 7/10.

I like your workrate, good energy. Your drummer needs a real drum kit just for the experience of tuning and getting rimshots and all the dynamics that newskins and oldskins bring to bear on the sound. With haunting arppegios this song immediate intrigues the listener into it. Blasts from the drums and guitar brings you into the body of the song. From there you are taken through several rounds of the main theme before the second movement begins.
The second movement is much faster and intense at the beginning and then dramatically slows down where a solemn ballad is played.
The third movement reminiscently copies the first but is lead by the dexterious guitar player. The third movement finally comes to a long drawn slow play which reintroduces the arppegios again. And to finalize the tune, you are treated to another sprint of high tempo performance.
What I like about this song is the definite structure that exists. These artists are using the right chemistry to give them their own niche in Rock. I feel especially pleased that they live in the city right next to mine. Great stuff!

Chugging guitars begin this tune in a sound reminescent of The Doobie Brothers' "Long Train Running (Without Love)". Suddenly the drums go through a set of pause and starts, and to my amazingment the guitars sharply follow those pause and starts with simultaneous (near perfect) muting and start ups. I give JMCinstrumental high marks for this alone. The song is filled with various rhythm patterns that orbit the opening chugging riffs. Every several measures, the pattern changes and all musicians pickup together in the new theme. This is great stuff from Columbus, Ohio!

Well lads. The potential is there for a more dynamic performance. You have to play with guitar tone and volume as your playing and you still need a real drum kit. You can hear the splash die after its digital end.... you need to be able to sustain sounds on a drum kit to build tenction. Even a crappy drumkit well tuned would have a buzz over the electronic kit and you could also mix and match the two kits. Any way nice guitar and drums and bass, its just the sweetness in sound that I miss.

JMC is turning out some well synched works. The drum and guitars are very tight in this work, and they handle tempo & pattern changes downright expertly. The dextrious talent of the guitarist shows through in the middle of the work. In the work though, I give credits to the drummer who really is managing the structure of this piece very well. The snares are sharp, the kick can be felt, and the cymbals do not overwhelm the work. The march at around 3 minutes was particular accurate. The bass plays and drummer were impressively synched here. This is good stuff!

the guitar gets quiter and louder which u might no, it is only a demo after all

getting the right singer will be crucial to you, the wrong sound here will make or break so good luck (don't get a screamer, think the likes of bruce dickenson)
I think you should (if you haven't) try to write your songs with lyrics in mind, even if you can't sing them, have a go at wording and phrasing so at leat when you audition singers they will have something to go with.
I felt from this track it would be hard to put vox in it, i may be wrong though.
one last thing, be careful to develop something unique about your sound, whilst musically you are very good, and no quibbles about what you are doing, try and think about the marketing of your music, i.e who is going to listen to you and buy your cds. with that in mind i'll shut up
