Hola everybody...I know its been a while since we've left a substantial blog, mainly because finding wifi on the road is the more difficult than fishing in the arctic (a slight exaggeration)...anyways...just a quick update on how things are going and what we've been up to:

Dates with The Summer Set were interesting...it was great to finally be back on tour again, especially cause we were going with people from back home...shows were really intimate...at first the acoustic sets before the shows were a little awkward..we were slightly under-rehearsed to be honest...I think the first show that felt comfortable happened in colorado...I would love to move to Colorado some day, even for a year or two...even the people are cleaner in Colorado..after the Colorado date everything started to feel more routine (turn on gps, drink energy drink, show up to early to venue, play guitar, take out equipment, talk to every single person, play show, talk to every single person again, load out, yada yada)...wish we could have spent more time with the summer set guys and gal (we love you jess)...then it was on to the house shows

Theres something different about a house show...theres this personal connection that you get when you're playing in someone's living room or back porch or kitchen...We've been touring the rest of the country playing in all of these places...running through improv set lists, cover songs, sing alongs, board games, pizza eating...It really feels like people are relating the music on a different level when you play in that type of intimate setting...so we're going to keep doing it for a bit..see where it takes us...

At this exact moment im sitting in our friend Bex's house in NY trying to write some new songs...we might even try out a few at these house shows just for fun...so excited for the next couple of months...i'm going to try and post tour blogs once a week from here on out...my apologies for not doing this sooner...thanks so much to everyone who has taken the time out of their day to come and watch us over the last couple of weeks!!!
