Hi All,

I want to invite you to be part of a life changing opportunity for Rwanda. Here at RSVP we really appreciate your interest in this ministry. Over the years, through the kindness of partners like you, we have been helping the people of Rwanda recover from the trauma of the genocide. Yes, it was a long time ago but the scars are still there. My great friend Charles Mugisha wrote to me recently...

"As a result [of the genocide] many children have been left poor and vulnerable to starvation, malnutrition, and lack of educational opportunities. Many missionaries and Christian leaders died or fled the country. Few Christian leaders are available to teach truth and disciple those who believe. There is also a great need to spread the gospel, as many have never heard of the Good News of in Jesus Christ."

This September we have a great opportunity to address these issues in Rwanda. Charles has arranged a 5 day conference where I will be addressing thousands of people, instructing them in God's word. Many will hear the gospel and receive Jesus as their Saviour. Healing will abound. This is what God has called us to do. My wife, Hazel, and I will also be visiting the many projects we sponsor, feeding street children and the new House of Mercy orphanage.

Alison Fenning will also be joining us to minister to broken people in prison and women involved in prostitution. RSVP has been sponsoring a group of prison evangelists in Rwanda and we will be meeting with them also.

We will also be taking resources - books and CD's - to further spread the transforming word of God. All this costs money, of course, and we believe God will supply all our needs to help the broken people of Rwanda. We need to raise £4,300 to cover the costs of this life changing mission. I want to invite you to be a partner in this strategic mission from 25th Sept - 9th Oct. Please join us in prayer and if possible in meeting the costs of the trip.
