It was a sunny day, but I felt cold it was a bright day, but darkness echoed she appeared in the haze and i knew this was her as we were passing each other, she reached out her left arm—ever so eagerly offering me what she was holding in her left fist i reached out, with my left hand she placed the thing on my palm and it burned ever so deeply i held it against my chest and it burned, deeper she looked at the burn marks on my chest and cried in silence: i knew that she cared when she left i turned back to see her one last time she turned back and looked at me with a smile— a silent, pale smile then she turned around and took a step towards me the echoes of darkness thinned away in slow motion and i beheld and awaited ever so patiently she took another step towards me and i woke up. The pain was still there
