Before reading my blog, first read the following article:

It seems that nothing is sacred any more—even mothers' lofty position. I think, in order to put these opportunists out of business, "we the people" should agree upon an internal code not to buy anything on the Mother's Day or the Father's Day; instead buy a humble bunch of flowers. (Because if it is not "humble," then all the merchants and money-mongers now would start concentrating on selling us more elaborate, more expensive flowers.)

If we want to buy a nice gift for our mother or father, we can do it any time of the year; we do not need an excuse. It is a matter of love. Do we need any excuse to bring our lover a flower or a gift? I think not. We can do it any day in the year.

That is my opinion—as valid as it could be!

Happy Mothers' Day to all mothers and fathers of the world.
