Who Gives Kudos:

Saturday, November 29, 2008

Current mood:  sad
here we are fighting amongst ourselves about the most trivial stuff.
fighting about whose philosophy makes most sense on top of the other.
about who has the biggest car
about who can be a better president
about whose "gods" are stronger, mightier, and more righteous than the other
about whether your girlfriend/boyfriend will find someone better than you
about who can be cooler than the other; or having more friends
about whether you live down in the metropolis or the countryside, comparing your standards of life
or about whether you have a bigger penis than someone else

we are dumb. we are weak. and the solution to our escape-"that's life"

Lo Hwei Yen was killed while being held hostage at Mumbai's Oberoi Hotel. News just came in, that our very own Singaporean, has been murdered in the hands of so-called "liberists" so how now?
I cannot emphasis on how horrible this news is and how it has taken an effect on me.
I am speechless.
Everything has gone too far.

I believe we all have power vested in us to be able to make a difference somehow, somewhere. We just need to stop thinking about ourselves for one second.

can you imagine? being held hostage? making you do things against your will? and being tortured to your last breath. We have no idea how it is like, and yet we have the balls to talk about what the everlasting truth is for eternal love.

What difference can WE make?

Ms. Lo Hwei Yen, you have braved the storm and now you are gone in all sadness. Singapore grieves for your departure and sends condolences to your family and your husband. I have never met you.
but if i have ever so grazed your hand before in passing, i am honored to have had my hand touch the skin of a brave young lady such as yourself. you will go down in history, and may the story of your life remain in generations after generations. Your name will be eternal.

and may your final wish before your passing, come true.

regards
