"Having dwindled our resources on excess, Americans everywhere are
re-evaluating what it is we really need. We have begun to filter out
the non-essential and adjust our cravings. I’ve begun to look at job
security in a whole new light as I consider peers and whether their
respective markets are either vital or vapid. And I have been tempted
to think, “What a crummy time to be a musician.”
