I've had a busy summer playing 3 or 4 gigs a week on a regular schedule but the economy is starting to affect that run. I've had one place cancel due to a major slow down of business and another cut back on the number of times I'm there during the month. I'm glad that I'm not out on the road with this problem. I have found one place that has really been a lot of fun to play and the feed back has been very good. The Glen Rock Mill Inn in Glen Rock PA has been a wonderful gig. They are very good to me and the crowd there is receptive to my music. I play a lot of originals there and they seem to want to hear more which is music to my heart. I'm looking forward to the next gig there for a couple of reasons. One, is the reception I get there and two, is the new recording device I just bought. I'm going to start recording my live gigs, just the originals, for starter tracks on my next CD. With any luck I might be able to get some nice tracks down to work off of. I'm excited about this and hope it works as well as I think it will. Come on out and support live music!
